There are two sorts of card payments: direct and recurring. Direct card payments are captured directly, or within a specific time frame, while recurring card payments are store the card information to be used later.

Redirect (hosted payment window) / Pay-by-Link

Redirect your buyers to a Payer hosted page from your website or send the payment link from email, chat, text message or physical stores. With the API you can trigger a text message with the Request-to-Pay Link using POST - Send Payment Request via smsAPI

This is the simplest integration with one API-call to get an URL to redirect or send to your customer with all available Payment methods configured on your Merchant Account or defined in the API call

2. Card Payment Widget

An easy ready-to-use alternative for your card payments that can be customised with your own styling. It has the two following options for use:

Embedded (iframe)

Embed the Card Payment Widget in an iframe on your website to incorporate the experience in your own.

Redirect (hosted payment window) / Pay-by-Link

Redirect your buyers to a Payer hosted page from your website or send the payment link from email, chat, text message or physical stores. This is the simplest integration with one API-call to get an URL to redirect or send to your customer. Suitable for card payments in native apps.

2. Custom Card Payment (Hosted Fields)

Build your own UI with our custom integration solution - without touching sensitive card data. Stay in control of the look and feel by embedding each (hosted) card data field separately for a more tailored fit in to your payment page.

Before you start with this alternative, confirm with your Account Manager that you're eligible for using it.

Card Issuers

Payer supports card payments with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Contact your sales representative regarding which cards you want to support.

Stored cards and recurring payments are not currently supported for American Express cards.
